Personal

I was born locally in Southern California, spent 2 years in Alaska and have lived in the Conejo Valley for 13 years. I have been married to my wife Marie for 14 years and we have 5 children whom she is home schooling. My family has been a major factor in my success. They are tremendously supportive. They are the reason I work so hard, and the reason I take time off!

On days off I enjoy fishing, mountain bike riding, playing baseball with my kids or anything else they are into currently. I am also a private pilot, so I like to take day trips with my wife…when we can find someone to watch 5 kids!

Services

I began my real estate career drafting Broker Price Opinions for Troop Real Estate’s REO Division who specialized in REO sales for various banks. Subsequently I am now Director of Troop Real Estate’s REO Sales Division with over 750 agents. Banks require very accurate estimates of a property’s selling price verses listing price. As a result, my listings have sold for 98.7% of original asking price and have closed on time 91% of the time.

I work closely with homeowners to maximize the home’s value and provide aggressive marketing. The days of inputting a home into the local MLS system, running some newspaper ads and sitting back waiting for our phone to ring are over. Therefore I take a very active approach to get the home sold.

I, and my team of associates also provide complete REO Management service to our Banking clients with accurate BPOs, verifying occupancy status, securing and managing vacant properties, rehabbing and preparing property for sale and aggressive marketing. I work closely and professionally with Asset and Closing Managers and provide consistent communication and feedback.

My goal is to represent my clients faithfully and sell the property quickly at the highest possible price and best terms.

When working with Buyers, I believe any agent can show property. What sets me apart is my thorough knowledge of the Real Estate Purchase Agreement, which allows me to negotiate the lowest possible price and best terms for my clients.

Skills and Achievements

In my career I have sold many homes and have had my share of awards and recognition but nothing compares to the opportunity you give me when you hire me to sell your property and I do not take the responsibility lightly. I have a hard work ethic and good time management skills. I understand computer systems and utilize the latest technology to streamline my business and activities.

I attend an average of 200 hours of training classes each year when only 20 are required. I am highly motivated and have written goals and plans for my business, my clients’ transactions and myself. I also employ full time staff to ensure high quality customer service.

All of the before mentioned success has occurred because of the gracious provision of God, the tremendous support that I have received from my clients, coaches and mentors, my fellow agents, great assistants, affiliates and my family.
